Research of EtherNet/IP under EPICS environment

This paper describes the establishment of a ControlLogix PLC system under EPICS environment. The implementation of ControlLogix EtherNet/IP driver for EPICS and its layers are discussed. Solution for the deficiency of the EPICS driver is presented. Results of the EtherNet/IP testing show that the system which uses EtherNet/IP has good performance in regard to speed, stability and reliability.
