Ren Da-lin · Journal of Sichuan International Studies University · 2003
The interactive nature of text refers to the mutual relationship among text, speaker/writer, listener/reader, and context. The study in this aspect can shed light on the nature of text, promote the study in text construction and text comprehension, and provide theoretical instruction for writing and reading teaching. Though it used to be in the confine of literature such as reader-shape analysis, reception-response theory, it has aroused interest in text linguistics recently.
