Design on Centralized Channel Assignment Algorithm for Wireless Mesh Networks

The related multi-channel assignment algorithm for wireless mesh networks(WMN) is analyzed in this paper.Further more,a new channel assignment algorithm(CAR-NL) based on rank of node and link group is presented for wireless mesh networks.The channels are assigned through groups of nodes and links according to the rank and initial link load estimation.The results of related experiments show that the algorithm has a better performance on network throughput and network average packet drop probability when multi-flows exist.
