The Urban Bus Information System Database Building Based on Dynamic Segmentation Techniques

A method to set up a spatial database for urban bus line was adopted by dynamic segmentation techniques in order to overcome the shortcomings that the conventional arc-node topological model faces in modeling the linear feature. Then the process of the database building guided by dynamic segmentation thought way was given in detail. Finally we implement the database of the Wuhu bus information query system. The result shows that the geodata organized by dynamic segmentation techniques, distribution according to need on information can be well done.
