Variable Step-Size Constant Modulus Blind Equalization Algorithm Based on Square of Average Grads

A new variable step size CMA is proposed.The new algorithm make use of the square of average grads to produce the new variable step size and solve the antinomy between the convergence rate and accuracy because of using the fixed step in traditional CM(Constant Modulus) algorithm.The theoretical analysis and the simulation results proved to show that the new algorithm has improved performance of the convergence speed and residual error than traditional CM algorithm.
