Research on key management in Wireless Sensor Network

Research on key management is always a hot spot in Wireless Sensor Network.Starting with the analysis of security in Wireless Sensor Network,this paper describes several types of security key managements schemes by comparing their advantages and disadvantages.Based on the discussion,it presents a new kind of clustered key management scheme.Because of different requests in security for different kinds of messages,there are four kinds of keys for communication in this scheme: personal key,pair-wise key,cluster key and group key.Especially the construction of pair-wise key,which is based on temporary authentication key,strengthens the function of identity authentication to nodes and improves the efficiency of security.
