Stream surface modeling by surface reconstruction is a challenge work in industrial application. The known reconstruction methods based only on geometric information are difficult to obtain the resulting surface with the definition of fluid dynamics and need complicated artificial intervention.Proposes a novel reconstruction method for stream surface with the incorporation of fluid velocity and distance function.By solving the corresponding reconstruction model with level set equation, the stream surface is achieved.Compared with existing reconstruction methods, this approach can guarantee not only the geometric accuracy but also the shape definition of stream surface, reducing the noise, holes and overlapping regions of defective point data more reasonably. The example demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed method.
