The Implementation of Mallat Algorithm of Wavelet Transform on ADSP21160

The wavelet transform(WT)is a very powerful tool for analysis of non-stationary signals.The Mallat fast algorithm of WT enables the applications of WT.An efficient implemen-tation of the discrete form of the analysis of real time signals.After a short discussion of Mallat fast algorithm,the implemen-tation of the periodic extension of Mallat algorithm on AD-SP21160is described in detail,at the same time,the basic characteristics and Integrated Development Environment(IDE)of ADSP21160is introduced.At last,the simulating operation results of Mallat algorithm on IDE of ADSP21160is described.
