Causes Analysis on the Leakage Current Over-Limitation of 220 kV line Lightning Arrestor

Aiming at the problem of leakage current over-limitation of 220kV line lightning arrester in a preventative test in a certain substation,the affecting factors of the DC leakage current measured onsite are presented in detail.The causes of the DC leakage current over-limitation are analyzed.The analysis results offer precious experience in tha arrester defect analysis.
