Study of linear codes over a new ring with four elements

The study of linear codes over rings with four elements has attracted much attention of researchers recently.In this paper,the structures of generator matrixes of the linear codes over the ring F2+vF2 with four elements are given.Then by introducing the Gray map,the structures of the dual codes and their Gray images are presented.Furthermore,it is proved that the Gray images of the mutual dual linear codes are also mutual dual linear codes.The results are valuable for constructing good codes and decoding.
