Ranking Algorithm Based on Decision Tree

Adecision tree with a newsplitting rule,which has anintuitional explanation,is described.Atheoreticalbasis for the splitting rule is provided and the capability of the decision tree for ranking instances is demonstrated.The experi ment results showthat the algorithmoutperforms perception ranking and other existing ordinal regressionalgorithmapplied for ranking.
