Design and Realization of Land-Use Planning Database Based on Geodatabase

The establishment of Land-Use Planning Database model by using UML is beneficial to clari-fy the structure of land-use planning database and the relationship between classes,and facilitates the up-dating and management as the same time.Directly generated Land-Use Planning Database based on geoda-tabase by using UML model has not only reduced the complexity of database construction effectively,but is capable of keeping the accuracy of relevance between data.Besides,it has shortened the development cy-cle and make the maintenance work more convenient.From the perspective of practical applications,this paper has set up a UML model of the Land-Use Planning Database,and then on the basis of the XML file a Land-Use Planning Database is generated in ArcCatalog,and some problems worthy of attention are also summed up.
