Research on Anti-collision Algorithm for an Active Tag RFID System

The application of anti-collision algorithms in solving the problem of labels' collision in a RFID system is one of the key technologies.This paper introduces the carrier sense multiple access with collision avoidance(CSMA/CA),and the anti-collision algorithm based on the CSMA technique;and a new algorithm of anti-collision is proposed by integrating the appointment mechanism with the CSMA Technology.The realization of the principle of the algorithm is given,which indicates that the new algorithm has some advantages on enhancing throughput rate and delay comparing with other algorithms by means of Matlab.
