Under realistic network operations,cable TV network service provider will meet various kinds of non-specified application traffic which may cause major impacts to their services or even brings loss to the company.This document summarizes how the traffic management technology could provide intelligent identification,classification,control,etc.in cable TV broadband network.This technology could provide better management of network traffic as well as utilization rate of the network bandwidth resources.
