In order to discuss the application of the changeable weight combination forecasting model to the deformation monitoring,based on some dam's settlement monitoring,a model based on linear regression and grey model GM(1,1)is proposed.The result proves this method has better accuracy in predicting the settlement of the dam and calculating the sum squares of errors of one single forecasting method and the changeable weight combination forecasting model.This shows this model can provide a certain reference value for dam deformation prediction.
