The Real-time Downloading Technique for the Security Chip Based on Multisite Test

This paper outlined the configuration,character and difficulties in production test of information security chips.The information security chip may generate test patterns by different methods according to the algorithm of the password when downloading the password during production test.This paper introduced a method for the information security chip to generate test patterns during production test.by this method,the generation and the downloading of the security password of the information security chip is automatous,continuous and real-time.In manufacturers,it is effective to test the security chip by this method in multi-site configuration,because it increases the test efficiency and reduces the test cost.It was proved that this method was feasible and efficient by the successful production test of a sort of information security chip on the Teradyne J750 IC test platform.
