Research Progress in Self-face Recognition

Self-face recognition is the ability to recognize one's own face.It is the basis of the self development.Self-face recognition manifests its great progress in phylogeny,individual development and neural mechanism in recent years and has got rich research findings.Using cognitive neuroscience technology to research self-face recognition promotes the development of this domain.Studying these research findings is of important significance for us to further understand face recognition,theory of mind and the self development.These researches offer a new window for studying the formation mechanism of the self.
