A Study on Multi-Channel Information Fusion Method

The mathematical model of multi channel data fusion is explored in terms of information theory. The multi channel vibrating signals are measured and their Shannon entropies, information capacity rates and information redundancy are calculated. Then the signals of lower information content are removed and the multi channel data fusion is performed so as to obtain higher signal precision than from a single-channel. As a result, the recognition capability is enhanced.
