A FMEA and Rough Sets Linked Fault Prediction Approach

Based on the basic theories of FMEA and rough sets decision-making system,the problem of fault prediction for subsystems in airplane was researched. First of all,the symptom which meets fault prediction was defined,and FMEA of the subsystem was done.Then,a matter that could cause a certain fault in the FMEA record table was injected into the model of this subsystem.Data information from the model was collected,and the information was used to construct rough sets decision-making table for fault prediction.The knowledge which is decision-making arithmetic of fault prediction was found though processing the decisionmaking table.When it comes to fault prediction of running subsystem,the fault prediction process according to this arithmetic can be conduct.
