A Pattern-classfication Method Based on Combining Fuzzy-C-means with RS Theory and Its Application

It is known that RS（Rough Set）theory has the capacity for analyzing and inferring incomplete data, discovering the relationship between data and the optimal condition attributes combinations, but it can process only the quantitated data. This paper advances an optimization idea of continuous attributes discretization，realizes the continuous attributes discretization with the Fuzzy-C-means method，and explores the method of pattern classfication based on combining Fuzzy-C-means with RS theory. And, an application example is given.
