Open Settlement Protocol and Its Application in SIP System

OSP protocol is an international protocol for exchanging authorization,routing, and accounting.The article introduces the architecture of OSP,basic messages and major functions in detail.The working methods of OSP are discussed.Finally,in terms of the current application,the author puts forward to accomplish interconnection,accounting,authorization and usage reporting between the SIP system and other systems by using OSP protocol.
