Study on Link Quality of Indoor Wireless Sensor Networks under Human-mobility Conditions

Based on analyzing the characteristics of indoor wireless sensor networks and the traditional link measurement problems,this paper first points out that human activities have significant impacts on the link quality of the indoor wireless sensor networks.Then it describes the proposed indoor human-mobility model,and with this model,an estimation method of effective area,transitional area and ineffective area is proposed.The theoretical limits for the decline of data reception success rate caused by the movement of the human body in the above-mentioned areas are also given in this paper.Finally by constructing a test case under the conditions of human-mobility interference,the performance of the proposed estimation method is analyzed.
