Study on GIS of Water Resources Based On ASP.NET and ArcServer

Water resource has become an important aspect in sustainable development in China.It is very important to establish GIS,which can monitor,simulate,analyze and assess water resource effectively.This paper introduces the design of a Water Resource System,which issues information of water resources as well as spatial distribution on Internet adopting ArcServer mode and ASP.NET technology.It improves the traditional WEBGIS that possessed some defects.By using this system,users can conveniently inquire,analyze and browser spatial information and attribute information.It can fully satisfy the information management to build Water Resource GIS on Web.
