Contour Perception of Saliency Object Based on Visual Attention Mechanism

Aiming at the problem of object contour detection in computer vision,a new contour perception model was proposed,which was based on visual attention mechanism.First,the focus of attention of saliency object was obtained by using the visual attention mechanism.Then,the important edges extracted from the source image were organized into the object contour using the Gestalt laws.By contour perception of distances basing on focus of attention,the final result was the contour of the saliency object,which was interested and observed by the human vision.The results indicated that the algorithm is effective and rational in biology.
