Along with the widespread application of the database technology in the software development,more developer attached importance to the database access technology in the management information system design.By the comparison and analysis of the DataReader and DataSet object′s basic property,method and applied condition in the data access objects of ADO.NET,has discovered the difference of them,and simultaneously has provided the programming case of using them in the practical,thereout it can be found out that DataReader object adapts to the connection working condition,but the DataSet object adapts to t the non-connection working condition,and at the same time the database system developer can be provided the beneficial reference.
