Design and application of tool supporting defect prediction and calibration of COQUALMO

The prediction of software defect is a very important part of the overall project management for software development. COQUALMO,a well-established defect prediction model,and a local calibration to this model is introduced and discussed. In addition,since the application of COQUALMO is based on electronic table before,an instance of the model is developed,which is convenient for the users. After tested with actual data,the model is validated to be good at prediction.
