In this paper,a power control algorithm for the high speed shared control channel in HSDPA system is proposed, which is called power control algorithm based on CQI.And the principle of the algorithm is explained through the formula deductions, and its performance is analyzed through simulation.Simulation result shows that this algorithm is an appropriate power control algorithm for HSDPA system.
