Detecting Nonlinearity in the Dam's Monitoring Data

Nonlinearity analysis of dam's monitoring data is based on the existing of nonlinearity which is tested by all kinds of methods.In the paper,surrogate data method based on bootstrap methods of modern statistics theory is addressed and applied to the nonlinearity testing of Feng Man Dam's monitoring data.The result conclude that there exist nonlinear ingredients in the displacement data and the non linearity is not caused by the static nonlinear transformation measurement,but is the manifest of the dam's dynamic system,which provides the theory basis and testing method for further nonlinear analysis.
