Bluetooth vehicle detector for SCOOT

The SCOOT system is a route guidance system,which can adjust green ratio,length of period and phase on real time by collecting traffic data.Most of SCOOT system adopts traditional vehicle detection technology,whose disadvantages lie in bad real-time accuracg,high production and maintenance cost,short service life,and easy disturbance from weather environment.The principle and structure of SCOOT system are analysed.The model,flow,principle and its application in SCOOT system of Bluetooth vehicle detection system are emphatically discussed.Finally,the conclusion is obtained that this system can compensate the defect of SCOOT in data collection.
