Review of Standardization in Road Weather Information System

Road weather information system(RWIS) can provide the road with important meteorological information for its safety and normal operation.At present,RWIS has been developed and applied in many countries and regions.Therefore,the standardization of RWIS is getting much concern.This paper analyzes the research of standard or guideline in RWIS all over the world,including some developed countries,international organizations,and China.Furthermore,the main components and structure of RWIS standard framework are summarized.Finally,several advices are given for China RWIS standard framework.
