Analytical Research on RFID’s Replacing the Barcode in the Library Field

The library is currently using the barcode as the recognition technology, and RFID (Radio Frequency Identification)being as a mature new identification technology, is gradually entering the library. This paper describes the development process and features of both technologies, and makes analysis on the two technologies from library management and reader service, and points RFID technology will replace the barcode in the near future.
