Jianming Chen · 2004
This paper analyzes the differences of framework between SNMP and DMI. According to DMI to SNMP Mapping Standard constituted by DMTF, it construes the structure using UML methods, and proposes a new idea for designing Mapping Agent. What's more, it also states the implementation of general Mapping Agent, taking SNMP primitive GetNext as an example.
