Surge Protector and Lightning Surge Protective Device for LV Distribution System

This paper made an introduction to the basic requirements, the most common components and main technical parameters of surge protective device (SPD), which is installed in the LV distribution system on equipment power supply circuits, providing corresponding protection measures against lightning surge damages to the microelectronic equipment and information system.
