Design and application of service-oriented architecture of distributed monitoring system

In order to deal with the shortcoming of traditional architecture of distributed monitoring system in opening and flexibility,a service-oriented architecture of distributed monitoring system is proposed by abstracting the general model of distributed monitoring system and applying service-oriented architecture(SOA).The architecture contains five function components including data acquisition, data processing,status monitoring,information fusion and decision support.Web services platform is chosen to support the integration of these individual components,and the integration of monitoring system with management information system(MIS)as well.Its application shows that the architecture reduce the system coupling level and enhance the efficiency of system implementation.
