The Principle of Buffer Overflow Attack

Buffer overflow is a technology widely used by hackers to attack computer networks. In this paper the principle of such a kind of attack is analyzed, and the difference between local attacks and long -distance attacks is also disscussed. Then several methods for defending buffer overflow attack are present.
