The Sonar Image Median Filtering Based upon Rough Set Theory

Reducing image noise and protecting object edges is a primary task on a filter design, and it is still an important task owing to the sonar image being bad quality. The median filtering method based upon Rough set theory was applied to the sonar image processing, and the demonstration was given. The results show the method is a feasible one.
