The Performance Evaluation system for Maintaining and Operating of ITS

A novel performance evaluation system is proposed,which is based on the management problems and it’s solving in the maintaining and operating for the Intelligent Transportation System(ITS).The 4-layered architecture is adopted,where there are management objects layer,data acquisition layer,information processing layer and application layer.The performance evaluation system has been applied in the ITS maintaining and operation system in Shanghai and other adjacent cities in Eastern of China.The result shows that the efficiency of management is improved much for maintaining and operation of ITS.The application prospects for the system is wide and valuable.
