Discussion on Application of Message EJB

Message-driven EJB in J2EE infrastructure is a message-driven technology that integrates EJB with JMS. Message-driven EJB has a key Bean class, it implements four interface methods for message driven, receiving message, removing Bean and EJB container. JMS queue or topic was appointed in the deployment descriptor when Message-driven Bean was deployed. When some message arrived JMS destination, the message Bean was retrieved by EJB container, and it implements Bean being message driven. Taking mobile short message service as an example, An Message-driven EJB application was illustrated with the related Bean class, the deployment descriptor and the vendor-specific container deployment descriptor.
