Design of router-based defense system against DDoS attacks

The router-based defense system designed in this paper can detect and control DDoS attacks quickly. It can improve network performance by protecting the requests of victims and legitimate users, and the network bandwidth resource between attack source and victims. The detecting and controlling method is verified by simulative experiments.
