With two kinds of the directive language, 236 college students were used to study their ways of solving the selection tasks and investigate their efficiency of solving the selection tasks. The results indicated that there is significant difference between the verifiable directives and the traversable directives. The traversable directives was useful to solve the selection tasks, and the results showed that there is the identity between matching bias and verification bias.
