Research on algorithms for load balancing routing in multi-channel wireless Mesh networks

Aiming at the problem of network capacity in wireless mesh networks,based on multi-channel wireless mesh networks model,the paper proposes load balancing heuristic algorithm by formulating routing problem as linear program in the wireless mesh networks.The algorithm reduces the communication load on wireless network link by restricting routing hop distance of the traffic requests in order to improve the total networks throughput.Simulation results show that network performance can be improved significantly by the proposed algorithm.
