On the Concept of Works in the Sense of Copyright Law

Intellectual works are the objects of copyright. The essence of intellectual works is their physical property. Intellectual works are the combination of humans’ thinking or emotions and material; they exist in fields of literature, arts and science and serve people’s aesthetic and cognitive needs. A scientific understanding and clear conception of intellectual works serves to protect the various rights related to them and to disseminate the intellectual results of mankind.
