Computer-aided Dredging Monitoring and Decision-making System of Cutter Suction Dredger

The paper expounds the main functions of self-developed dredging monitoring and decision-making system, which is applied for monitoring the functional mode of cutter suction dredger (CSD) and establishing the relationship between the dredging parameters and bed materials production according to the changes of seabed. It provides the dredger operators with visual control of the dredging work through analyzing, optimizing, auxiliary decision-making and indicating, so as to improve the productivity of cutter suction dredger. The system has been examined and approved through Tianjin Municipal Sci-tech Achievement Appraisal and well performed on many CSDs of CHEC.
