Method of fault diagnosis for power transformer based on rough set theory

In order to get right conclusions of diagnosis from maturity information and satisfied results of diagnosis from incomplete information, and to improve the recognizing rate of faults, a method of fault diagnosis for (transformer) based on rough set theory is presented. The basic concepts of rough set, the algorithm of reduction, the principle of fault diagnosis and the practical examples are given out. Experiment results show that the method is (effective) and reaches the expect aim.
