A CORBA-based architecture MDBS model is introduced, and an XML-based common data model (CDM) named XIDM is presented. Panorama, a prototype system on the basis of the model, is implemented. The system is completed by agent method, and conforms to the characteristics of MDBS. The research will play an important role for enterprise application integration(EAI) and E-commerce.
