Safety Monitoring Index of Horizontal Displacement of Mianhuatan Dam

In light of the specific circumstances and the analysis of observational data of Mianhuatan dam,the safety monitoring index of horizontal displacement at the top of 2#,4#,5# typical dam section is determined by means of confidence interval estimation method,typical small-probability method and structural analysis.A comparison is made on results derived from these methods to give some proposals and measures for improvement.
