Analysis on the Heat Stability of ABS & PVC Blends

The heat stability of ABS PVC blends were compared and analyzed with the color degradation of heat aging. The results indicated that the three heat stabilizers of PVC could accelerate the color degradation of ABS. The heat stability of ABS/PVC (60/40) was better than the others. CPE could delay the color degradation of the blends and organotin was the best heat stabilizer.
