The maize inbred line 'Tie7922' has the character of compact plant-type,tough stalk,good-quality,high combining ability, strong vitality,genetic stability and wide adaptation.It is one of mainstay inbred line of improved Reid group in China,besides,it is good germplasm resources in maize inbred line breeding.Several breeder breed more than forty inbred lines and the hybrid that passed nation and province level certified has more than sixty.All above around 'Tie7922' improving and brazing new trails.Representative variety is 'Tiedan10','Tiedan12','Tiedan15','Tiedan18','Danyu26','Danyu39','Danyu69','Liao120','Tongji100','Shenyu22','Pudan3','Pudan6','Dongdan8','Dongdan13','Dongdan60' and so on.It is obvious that 'Tie7922' derived line has equal important position in maize production.
