Delay Analysis Model for Wireless Mesh Networks

The delay analysis of Wireless Mesh Networks(WMN) is not well addressed due to its various topologies,MAC and routing protocols as well as channel assignment algorithms.This paper proposes a delay analysis model for WMN.It analyzes the average packet delay for infrastructure WMN under arbitrary topology and routing protocol while considers the presence of multi-radio,multi-channel.Simulations show that this model is accurate,and could therefore provide a theoretical guidance for deploying and optimizing a WMN.
