A Survey and Evaluation of Agent-Oriented Software Development Methodologies

Agent-oriented software development methodology is a new research field in recent years and many researchers attach much importance to it and its application. This paper discusses some main Agent-oriented methodologies and development environments/tools, gives a way to evaluate these methods, and gets some conclusions; figures out their shortcomings and recommends some possible research directions in the future.
